David and I met via video conference once a week for many years during our time together at Orbitz. These talks were the highlight of my week and, while I suppose we were supposed to be talking about work plans and progress, our conversations would often take off in other directions. Through the screen I got to know David and he'd show me new gadgets or speakers or anything he was experimenting with. I got to see a little piece of David's world in that room in Oxford, hearing him tell stories about Helen and his children with such pride and openness. Some of my fondest memories are getting to travel to visit David in Oxford, having tea with David and Helen, grabbing lunch at a local pub, and just chatting with him in that room I'd seen innumerable times. David was a treasure and I will miss him dearly. To Helen and David's entire family, peace be with you. May you carry the fondest memories of David and think of them often.
