Thoughtful and kind person

I worked with David while a contractor at Orbitz Worldwide. He always had a positive disposition and offered insightful and innovative solutions to our work.

One day, David was in the Chicago office, which didn't happen often given he lived in the UK. We got to talking. I had mentioned I had lived in London for almost 6 years and David perked up. After some time of story swapping while trying our best to ascertain places we'd both become acquainted with in Old Smoke, as people often do, I mentioned I still owned a flat in the city and was considering selling.

David became keenly interested and mentioned the fact that his daughter was attending law school in London soon and he was open to checking my flat out.

One thing led to another and in 2014, David bought my flat at 83 Nightingale House near St. Katherine Docks. I couldn't have hoped for a better new custodian for the place.

I'd chatted with David this January over LinkedIn. He'd mentioned his son Peter was now enjoying the flat and we'd expressed interest in connecting in person should I be visiting any time soon.

I'm truly sorry to hear the sad news of his passing. May he be a blessing to the memories of those whom his life touched.

Warmest regards and deepest condolences,
Joseph (Joe) Greer
